Love how it felt like they were quite a lot younger! (55 myself)

That was the point . . . I am not 65 . . . this was about a friends birthday, but I wanted to show that we are all young really

There’s something powerful about women taking up space in sequins at any age. No apology. No hiding. Just rhythm and friendship.

Oh my goodness, I loved this. It was light and fun and so descriptive. It felt like being there. I did not see this turn for you, but I'm into it!

you write reflections, I create stories . .. this is based on a conversation with a friend, I’m not 65 yet. Do you get free bus passes in the US when you turn 65?

I love how aging here feels like expansion, not retreat.

Still knowing all the words. Still choosing to stay.🤍

What an absolute joy to read! Gabby’s night out is so vividly painted that I could feel the sparkle of her top, the quiet triumph of the bus pass beep, and the sheer glory of singing along to I Will Survive. The little details like the dignified removal of the jeans, the lightning bolt earrings, and the quiet camaraderie of the group make it feel so real and heartwarming.

Delightful! Aging with pizzazz and without forcing oneself into constrictive jeans! I love it.
